Chalk Bluff Battlefield Park
Chalk Bluff Battlefield Park displays walking trails that tells the history of what happened in the fights of the Civil War that took place there. On May 1-2 of 1863, General John S. Marmaduke retreated from a defeated raid and went to Missouri. There are trails, restrooms, and the handicapped can access.

Forrest L. Wood Crowley’s Ridge Nature Center
This nature center exhibits nature's wildlife from a range to large animals to small insects. There is a Habitat Trail that is a quarter-mile long and people would get to see animals that lives in the uplands, wetlands, ponds and prairies. Hikers that wants to climb tall forms of land are provided with high ridges and into deep ravines. In additional to it, there are nature-education programs that helps guide you through the parts of the wildlife of North America. They teach about fishing, hunting, trapping, and doing boat lessons.
